Willow By: Julia Hoban

I will start with my thoughts when I first bought the book, "Willow". I really liked the cover and I knew automatically that this
would be a sad book. Boy was I right! So without spoilers, I will tell you what the book was about. As the name may give away, it's about a girl named willow and seven months ago she was in a car accident and killed both of her parents. She now lives with her brother and resorts to cutting herself to get through the pain, she eventually meets a boy named Guy. She then finds it's a little hard to keep the secrets written all over her body. Believe it or not, that is just the beginning. There was absolutely no spoilers in that whatsoever. You can find all of that on the back of the book itself pretty much. I will say that I really liked this book. It gives an amazing message and I think that any teenager (like me) needs to read this book. You'll find out, most likely, that no matter what's going on in your life, it could always be worse. The only thing negative that I can say is that some times, willow gets a little irritating due to being such a stereotypical "emo", but I would still recommend the book, it could really put your life into perspective. I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars. Thanks for reading about what I thought of Willow! Go borrow/buy it! lol
